An Owl Girl

"Owl Girl"

I painted her today, the first full day's painting I have managed in nearly a month. Sometimes it's a relief to have a rainy day!

Don't forget, there are still a couple of days left until the draw for the Hare painting, so go and leave a comment on that post if you want to enter!

I love the pattern of the trees behind her. It's great to have a whole day painting isn't it? I find it difficult to not keep stopping to put washing out/wash up/answer door/phone and... read blogs hehe!;)

Beautiful work! I love the owl's large eyes just above the girl's. It draws (no pun intended) me right in! How many times can I comment for the hare! LOL

This is absolutely lovely! She is so sweet and innocent, and I really love the colors and the pattern of the branches behind her.

(I'm working on an owl drawing right and just last night I decided the background needed something, so I put in branches too.)

What a wonderful thing to have a whole day for painting. I'm itching to get home and have perhaps an hour before I have to start carting kids around.
