Goodness me, it's been a long time since there was an update here! That's mostly because I have been so very busy working away on the The Green Wheel Oracle Deck, and finally, after 5 years in the making, I can announce that it's nearly ready to go.
It's wildly exciting, and a little bit scary too. I've launched the pre-order campaign on Indiegogo here: The Green Wheel Oracle
So, what exactly is The Green Wheel Oracle?
It's a set of 45 full colour divination cards. The deck is divided into three sets: The Wheel cards, depicting the 8 festivals of the wheel of the year (Imbolc, Spring Equinox, Beltane, Midsummer, Lammas, Autumn Equinox, Samhain, Midwinter), The Moon Cards, depicting the 13 moons of the year, and 24 Companion cards, depicting animal and plants allies.
Is divination fortune telling? No, not in the sense of telling the future. What they are used for is gaining insight into particular situations, suggesting ways you might look at things, and for helping to understand your own role in the great web of life. This particular deck, with it's emphasis on the cycles of the earth and spiritual connection to the land, can also be used to help you journey deeper into this connection.
It comes with a booklet to help you understand the meanings of each card, and to suggest ways of working with them, but over time this becomes a very intuitive process, and as you get a feel for your own set, it becomes very personal.
This is where I really need your help! I need to raise the funds to print and produce it, as explained in the video. I'm hoping to do this solely with pre-orders - I'm not asking for 'money for nothing'. However, there are lots of other exciting perks offered with the crowdfunding campaign, and I will be releasing several of the original paintings for sale over the course of the campaign.
Of course, I realise that not everyone is able to contribute financially, and that doesn't matter at all. Spreading the word, and sharing the campaign on your networks is just as important, and I would be enormously grateful if you could do that.
Most of all, I am just so thankful to everybody who has supported me by buying my work over the years, making it possible for me to have reached this point where I am on the brink of launching this project!
Thankyou 💚💚
