Win the 'Beltane Hare'

'Beltane Hare'

Ink and watercolour, approx A5

I've been working so hard on big paintings recently, preparing for an exhibition next month, that I have had very little time for the computer, or anything else! However, there are a dozen more paintings trying to escape from my head, and countless playful ideas that I want to experiment with. So, as a break from the larger, detailed work, and by way of a 'Thank you' to all of you who take the time to read what I write, and are kind enough not to take it personally if I don't always have time to reply to comments (though I read them all, and DO try to answer them all), I thought it was time to offer up a little original.

If you would like to have the chance to win this, you need to post a comment on THIS post, or on my facebook page (link on sidebar), and I will put all the names in the hat and draw a winner next Sunday evening. You could, of course, put a comment in both places, and I guess that means I can put your name in twice! You are also very welcome to share this post, or the facebook post , I'd be very grateful  - however, this is NOT a condition of entering the draw. I hate feeling pressured to share stuff - it can feel horribly spammy - so don't feel obliged at all!

So, Thank you, and please leave your name if you would like to win the Beltane Hare :) xx

Yes - that'd be lovely to win!

It would probably be terribly rude of me to win this as I've won one of your raffles once before, but I will still put my name in the hat as this is full of so much perfect symbolism for my Beltane this year. <3 And I'm hoping there will be prints available for when we don't win it? :) I know, spammy feels bad, but I think your work is so lovely, I'm more than happy to spread the word for you.

Beautiful. I love the full moon in a watery sky.
We have so many rabbits in the fields here but I haven`t seen a real hare for years.

How funny, today I was only thinking how I still needed to purchase some work from you...(I guess I was pondering my 'art' collection by friends).
Well, if I won this I would still want to buy some of course. lol
Beltane hare is beautiful...& it has been a particularly lovely Beltane for us. Nice energy this last week! xx

It's beautiful Danielle! Count me in! Good luck with your exhibition, I look forward to seeing some sneak previews. And I hope the weather is warming up for you over there. It's cooling down here, I think autumn might actually have arrived, which means my creative muse might also put in an appearance soon...I hope...it doesn't like hot weather!

Could you put me in the hat please. I love your work and would be so pleased to own something. My mother was a Wiccan and we followed the Pagan calendar, your painting would be a happy reminder of family traditions. Betty

Me! Me! Me! Though I think you ought to make this into little cards before you give it away - they would make lovely 'Happy Spring' cards to greet people with.

Wow, what a generous giveaway! Saturday was Labyrinth day and we walked the labyrinth here in Glastonbury (it's in the grounds of St Johns church).

A small synchronicity for me as I was looking at Labyrinths recently, and the ferns unfurling here today. I just need to see a hare, but sadly haven't seen one hereabouts for about 20 years now . . .

A beautiful painting to celebrate Beltane, and needless to say, I would love to win it too.

No-one feels the Hare like you, Danielle. I did not even think of labyrinths for Beltaine: I walked one by accident just days before, until I was doing my late Beltaine reading and realized I was traversing fiery dragon lines, in the dreaming of the Hare. Love, Laura

I would love to own another piece of your gorgeous work! British Columbia needs another Rookery infusion :)

Lovely
My daughter's power animal is a hare and she travels to Canada for a year this summer. It is a beautiful painting and she is a beautiful girl so I will wait to see if it will be a link for us.
Many thanks for your generosity to the universe.
