Across Beechlands to Gidleigh Woods
Ink and watercolour
7/2/12
Sorry, this is a rather poor photograph of this painting. These are just slightly too large for my A4 scanner, and so I grabbed a photo in the halflight this morning.
The picture below is another I have been working on this week

I love tthe way you use watercolour.
I like it very much.
Just lovely! especially the swan.
Love the snow scene - the snow shadows, the impact of the trees in the foreground. I want to walk into the view.
And the swirling blueness of the swan picture is stunning. (I would say that, as blue is my favourite colour). You deserve a pat on the back for these.
Just magical! Like a fairy tale.
Ooh lovely work! I like the way the hills unfold before you and the lovely coppery contrast of the beeches.
The colours in the swan painting are beautiful... it seems there must be a story in this one...?
Oh WOW!!! I love your landscapes, they are so enchanted!
Thankyou everyone :0
Swan - there is a story, but it isn't mine to tell, so it will have to wait a while ;-)
Both lovely - I like the first a lot! Beautiful wintery scene!

So beautiful! I saw the landscape on facebook, and it immediately caught my eye. Looks as though it glows.
