I got interviewed!

After a catalogue of computer disasters I think I am finally back up and running again! First there was the problem mouse, and then my monitor went too, giving everything a nasty pink tint, and making it almost impossible to read text, let alone start scanning artwork in. So, after a rummage around various friends second hand bits and pieces I have a working monitor and mouse again! To be honest there isn't any new artwork to show you yet, because the weather has been so gorgeous that I have been out in the garden or working the ponies for most of this week. I moved the ponies out of their bare patch, and into the bog paddock, where there is a little bit more grass. Hopefully this will stop them trying to escape for a little while. Look at them in that top picture - butter wouldn't melt!
I love this picture below - what you can't tell is that I had been watching Piper (bay filly) harassing Marlene for the last 10 minutes, trying to get her to play, and Marlene finally got cross and told her to go away and leave her in peace, in no uncertain terms! I think she looks like a cartoon pony!

My other news for this week is that I have been interviewed by Paige from The Equinest, a great horse website. I am really thrilled about this - it's great exposure for me, and it was fun to do the interview. It made me stop and think a little - something I don't do that often! You can read the interview here, but do check out the rest of the website too - there is a wealth of information there as well as loads of fun stuff.

Congrats on your interview...I will check out the website. We've had nice weather too and I've been outside as well in the gardens and with the horses. Rain is coming in tomorrow for the next few days so I can get back to business.
Oh, by the way, my friend loved her "crow" ACEO that I got from you. She wanted to know all about you.

Congratulations on the interview!! You deserve all recognition.

I feel your pain w/ the computer problems. THREE crashes in a week right after I started my business! Lost 53 poems that I was just going to backup (only have scribbly notes on maybe a third of them). Lost lots of newly scanned artwork but then I at least have the originals. Lost newest draft of novel (now THAT's revising...)

Best of luck to you.

I've been lurking in the background and thought it polite to say 'hi'. I love your art and your ponies are great, I've got a couple very similar, and know that annoyed look very well :)

Danielle that was a lovely interview, the drawings are to die for, and that crow, oh that crow! and as far as computers go, you really don't want me to go there.
Suffice to say that I told a friend that I would rather learn to use smoke signals that to have to deal with all this nonsense of wires and mishaps.

Here is to a trouble free computer time and to more time for you to draw and be happy while doing it.
